The Porter is a STOL- (short take off and landing) and multi-purpose airplane designed and built since 1959 by Pilatus Aircraft Ltd in Stans, Switzerland. Air America used this plane in Laos. FS2004 Viscount 838 Ghana Airways Textures only. This was Ghana Airways first aircraft and only served for just over three years. Delivered in October 1961 it was sold in April 1965 to the Ministry of Technology as XT661. The other two aircraft served Ghana for another ten years before returning to the UK in 1975 as G-BCZR & G-BDKZ. Requires the FSDS Viscount 800 model by Rick Piper (here).Repaint Garry Russell. 553K

FS2004 Viscount 736 British United Textures only. Originally ordered by Fred Olsen, this aircraft served a number of airlines on lease in it's early days. Sold to Airwork and then transferred to Transair it became a fleet member of British United in July 1960 when BUA was formed. It was to be the airlines longest serving series 700 lasting until January 1967 when it was swapped to British Midland for a Herald.It lasted until February 1969 when it was written off in a botched landing in a snowstorm at Castle Donnington. FS2004 Viscount 804 British United Transair Textures only. Viscount 804 G-AOXV wore this livery in the very early days of British United before adopting the familiar dark blue and flag livery. The series 804 aircraft were sold to LOT Polish Airlines, this one becomming SP-LVA in November 1962. It was written off with LOT in August 1965. The aircraft is constructed with as few polygons as possible (1820 in total for main model) and with a single texture file to ensure the absolute minimum impact on your framerates. The Flying W, as it was commonly known, was originally designed as a commercial passenger aircraft, at which it showed great promise. But a decision by the FAA to require multiple engines on passenger aircraft doomed it. The original Mentor, a Beechcraft Model 45 derived from the famous Beechcraft Bonanza, was first flown in December 1948.
